What is a Buy/Sell/Trade store? BACK TO TOP
Just like it sounds! Merchandise is purchased from customers for cash or for trade toward items in the store, which functions as a normal retail outlet offering new and used items for sale.

What's with the "MAKE AN OFFER" buttons? BACK TO TOP
We are willing to entertain SERIOUS offers on most items unless otherwise noted in the description of the product. If offers are allowed on a particular item, the product description page will have an email link (the infamous "Make an Offer" button). Please include the title of the item you're interested in along with your offer. We will consider your offer and respond within 24 hours Monday through Friday. Offers made via email on weekends may have delayed response. You may also call us during normal business hours (M–F, 9AM–6PM CST; SAT 9AM–5PM CST) at 309.821.1792 to discuss any item. We maintain the authority to decline an offer for any reason. Merchandise on our online store IS NOT up for auction, and making an offer on an item DOES NOT constitute a "bid". The customer has no claim to ownership prior to full approval and confirmation by Monster Pawn. We do maintain two eBay auction sites independent of this store which are accessible via the links in the sidebar.

We have two stores, located in Bloomington and Normal, Illinois, respectfully. We are almost directly halfway between Chicago and St. Louis (approx. 2 hours each way) at the crossroads of Interstates 55, 74, and 39. See the CONTACT/MAP page for directions and MapQuest links.

Where do you ship? BACK TO TOP
At this time we only ship to the 48 states in the continental U.S. However, we do offer international shipping on many of our eBay auctions accessible via the links in the sidebar.

What methods of payment do you accept? BACK TO TOP
We accept VISA, Mastercard, Discover, or Check/Money Order. You can also pay with PayPal, or via the Google Checkout button found in your shopping cart. All online credit card transactions are secure and encrypted via our secure socket layer, with security verification by Comodo for your confidence. We can also accept your credit card over the telephone. As for in store purchases, all major credit cards including debit cards are accepted, as well as cash and personal checks (upon authentication by our check reader).

Who is that bald guy in the TV commercials? BACK TO TOP
That bald guy is Ed Pierce, owner and operator of Monster Pawn and Monster Deals, and he can be found most days at the Bloomington location. By the way, he shaves that thing every day.

What do you buy/sell? BACK TO TOP
We're willing to buy or sell just about anything, within reason! We do specialize in musical equipment — lots of guitars and amps with tons of vintage stuff. In fact, Ed is quite proud of his ever growing collection of old 1950s-60s amplifiers that adorn the walls, most of which are for display purposes only...but he might be swayed with the right offer...

We do not buy or sell guns (except air and paint guns), and we try to avoid dealing in souls. Otherwise, let us know what you have/need and we'll give it every consideration.
